My main interest is bioanthro, specifically primates (even more specifically, chimps). When I decided to major in Anthropology many a years ago, I wanted to basically be Jane Goodall. Unfortunately, I've realized that her life and work isn't exactly the kind of job one can just apply for. I've also realized that I don't really think I want to live and work overseas for extended amounts of time (I'm from the US). So that being said, I have no idea what to do with my degree. I love animals, and have considered zoo work, but I can't help but be morally opposed to them, so I don't think that would work out. Primate rescue facilities seemed promising at first, but none of the center's websites that I've been to have really clicked with me. I don't want to live at the center and work 6/7 days a week, sun up to sun down, etc etc. I just want a job. I know there are a bajillion things you can do with an anthropology degree, I just have no interest in the vast majority of them, so I'm hoping you guys will be able to point me in a direction that I might have missed. Also, at this point in my life, I'm not looking at going to grad school.
*It should also be noted that I have no real experience in the field. I've never done an internship, since all the ones I've been able to find have dealt with archaeology and museums, 2 things which I have no interest in.*
